Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo 2018

The sun came out, then the clouds came over but the Portsea Polo went on. Guests embraced the day despite the dodgy weather and whipped out their sunday-best for a day by the field.

What I liked was the move towards relaxed feminine midi-dresses. Soft floral prints and retro textures were my fav as I'm loving this current on-trend throw back to vintage times. Accessories were the star for me though and seemed to be the thing that separated the rookies from the seasoned - take notes from Rozalia Russian (and her stylist Elliott Garnaut).

What I didn't like was the usual: people that missed the 'daywear event' memo and defaulted to their full 'saturday night going out' look. I've said it once and I'll say it again, it you'd wear it to a club, then don't wear it to the polo. Also, Zim playsuits. Done.
