A Maticevski Moment

Every now and then a designer comes along who defies tradition & expectation. Who designs for themself and for the love of the female form. Toni Maticevski is one of these rare and visionary people.Don't expect to see anything trend influenced at a Maticevski show - Toni is immune to the cliche, instead preferring to unknowingly and unintentionally create his own trends which become eras. But what you can expect to see at a Maticevski show is a dream like scenario of beautiful, technical and intricate pieces beyond your wildest imagination.

Just recently I was fortunate enough to loan some pieces from his AW16 collection, so naturally I called in the squad and set up a shoot. As we count down the next few weeks until his show opens Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, I wanted to share the outcome of that shoot, our editorial called 'The Man of the Moment'. I hope you like.
