A night at the Florist with The Outnet

Monday night I took a leave of absence from my usual finish-work, cook dinner then sit on the couch routine and instead spent the evening in a room full of flowers and designer clothes & accessories. Why? Because I was fortunate enough to attend a Spring Summer preview night with The Outnet, at the stunning Flowers Vasette.

Aside from the magnificent smell that encompassed you upon entering the Brunswick St florist, it was so nice to be greeted by my friend Nadia Bartel, our host for the evening. Nadia took us through some key pieces for next season (hello voluminous blouses) along with colour and print trends to look out for. It was also a timely reminder when they mentioned some of the amazing brands stocked at the Outnet - Balmain, Chloe, um hello! After a crazy week at the Spring Racing Carnival, it was nice to just have a chat and properly catch up with some friends in the company of some amazing designer pieces. And of course being at a florist, you couldn't leave without some sort of floral situation and lucky for us, one of the amazing floral artists form Flowers Vasette was on hand, tailor making flower crowns and posies for each guest - love!
